چکیده
This study set out to evaluate the wound healing properties of brittle star extracts in vitro and vivo. Due great arm regeneration potential star, Ophiocoma cynthiae, present aimed effect hydroalcoholic undergoing models. The samples were collected from Nayband Bay, Bushehr, Iran. After induction stars, relating different times prepared. GC-MS analysis, MTT cell viability migration, Western blot, computational analysis tests performed. Based on findings, two BSEs chosen for vivo testing. Macroscopic, histopathological biochemical evaluations performed after treatments. results showed positive proliferative effects BSEs. Specifically, forty-two compounds detected all groups using their biological activities assessed. assay that 14 d BSE had a higher HFF cells than 7 BSE. migration area was significantly lower control group. blot demonstrated an increase expression proliferation-related proteins. Upon strong affinity some with proteins observed. evaluation changes percentage group better other groups. Histopathological scores In conclusion, extract O. cynthiae days promoted process rat skin model due migratory activity.

Tissue Extract Fractions from Starfish Undergoing Regeneration Promote Wound Healing and Lower Jaw Blastema Regeneration of Zebrafish
Natural bioactive materials provide an excellent pool of molecules for regenerative therapy. In the present study, we amputate portions of the arms of Archaster typicus starfish, extract and separate the active biomaterials, and compare the effects of each fraction on in vitro wound healing and in vivo lower jaw regeneration of zebrafish. Compared with crude extract, normal hexane fractions (NH...
متن کاملThe regenerative properties of the extracted polysaccharide from Brittle star (Ophiocoma erinaceus) on cutaneous wound in male Wistar rat
In traditional medicine, extracts of polysaccharide-containing plants are widely employed for the treatment of cutaneus wounds. The brittle star, as one of marine organisms, encompasses bioactive compounds, which confer the healing potency of damaged arms. The aim of the present study is to investigate the effects of extracted polysaccharide from the Persian Gulf brittle star )Ophiocoma erinace...

متن کاملMathematical modeling in wound healing, bone regeneration and tissue engineering.
The processes of wound healing and bone regeneration and problems in tissue engineering have been an active area for mathematical modeling in the last decade. Here we review a selection of recent models which aim at deriving strategies for improved healing. In wound healing, the models have particularly focused on the inflammatory response in order to improve the healing of chronic wound. For b...
